Getting Started

There are two different ways to commission a Colvin Doll. One is a portrait doll made to a specific likeness. This is a custom sculpted face to resemble your photos or images. The other option is to pick a face, hands and shoes that are already sculpted (pre-sculpted) and for which a mold has been made, which most resembles the doll you wish created. Colvin Dolls has lots of faces to choose from. Both types of dolls are then painted, padded, dressed and wigged to complete the figure. If you would like Sherri to look at photos or images of a figure you have in mind, to see if a similar face is already sculpted, she would be happy to do so. Just send your images via email to sherri@colvindolls.com. Once your information is submitted, you are provided you with a quote. Prices are good for 90 days from quote.

The arms on Colvin Dolls are pose-able but in general the legs are not. All standing figures are balanced to stand on their own. All dolls are 1:12 scale unless otherwise stated. A seated doll can also be made with a chair you provide or you may choose from a selection of chairs from our supplier.

Updates on the commission progress are sent through e-mail if you wish.
Upon completion of the figure, you will receive a high resolution digital photo of the finished doll for approval before shipping.

The Colvin Studio requires a 50% deposit on all commissions before beginning work. The remaining balance is due before shipping.
All figures are shipped USPS priority mail signature confirmation and insured for the sale price. We ship world wide. Colvin Dolls accepts Pay Pal, Visa, American Express, Master Card, Discover and personal checks.

Colvin Dolls guarantees 100% satisfaction with your commission or your money will be refunded minus shipping and a 15% restocking fee. Intent to return a doll must be submitted for approval via email, written letter or phone call, within 14 days of original shipping date to the customer by Colvin Dolls. The returned doll must be postage dated as shipped by customer within 7 days of return approval. Returned dolls must be in their original packaging and condition.
If any parts are damaged in the shipping process your doll will be repaired, if possible, for no charge. Please contact Sherri for further information.
